Each city that I visited brings a new experience that I want to share with you. Barcelona is one of my favorite destinations and it's around six-hour drive from Clermont-Ferrand.

Wherever you are in Barcelona, there's always something to see around. From the famous architectural works of Antoni Gaudí to number one in a list of the top ten city beaches in the world.

WHERE TO STAY
To find a good hotel in the holiday season it was a little bit difficult and if I found its price is so high. So I decided to book an apartment at AirBnb, the easy way for the cheapest price in the high seasons. Located in the center of the city with 5 minute walking from the Sagrada Família, this apartment is cool. I have a balcony and kitchen are great. The room was designed minimalist and calm.

WHERE TO EAT
  • Blavist : ‪Carrer Saragossa, 85. The food is excellent you need to book in advance.
  • ElDiset specializing in torrada tapas : Carrer Antic de Sant Joan 3 & Passeig del Born.

WHAT TO DO
Basilica of the Sagrada Familia
As you know Sagrada Familia is still under construction but still this place is A must see for anyone visiting Barcelona.  It is worth it to give yourself enough time to look at the details of the architecture.

Casa Batllo
What an amazing architecture! Goudi's other masterpieces that you must see. A little bit crowded but the building is impressive both inside and outside and well worth a visit.
P.S: Try to visit in the evening, because all the lights make the architecture more beautiful.

Park Guell
The park is located in the top of the city. So you can overlook the courtyard where most of the monuments are located . This park is full of amazing architecture and it is a great space to walk around in.

WHERE TO LAY OUT
Barceloneta Beach
Tired from the museums and cathedrals? This is excellent place to just chill out even without the white-sand. Long, wide beach with plenty of bars. The sea is warm and clean.

GOOD TO KNOW

If you want to visit museums or parks or other attractions, you should book a ticket online to avoid a long line of queue.

I decided to start this year by presenting you this pastry called Belle de Cassis from Le Lautrec. A famous chocolate and macarons shop in Clermont-Ferrand.

A delicious entremet made from a coulis of blackcurrant and dice of raspberries, wrapped in a biscuit and a voluptuous cream vanilla-violet. It is an individual cake available in large format for 6/8 people. It is a delicious dessert both light and fruity. You can discover its taste by going to a shop of the chocolate factory Le Lautrec in the center of Clermont-ferrand or 4 others shop in Auvergne.

But be careful! You will risk cracking on their other entremets all as wonderful! Let yourself be tempted by a sweet break in one of their point of sale.

You can also discover their macaroons, with over 25 different flavors which you will have a hard time deciding ... but don’t worry, you will not be disappointed by any.

In my next article, I would tell you about the second cake that you surely noticed on the picture. A delicious pistachio / raspberry dessert.

I recently took a chance to taste the best cookies in Paris. Yeah I know some of you might be thinking that I'm joking xx. But seriously this isn't joke at all. A version of generous cookies with a crispy in the edges and melted in the middle. A perfect "mood booster" to start the day.

The shop is "Scoop Me a Cookies" located in Batignolles (Paris 17th) and Crespin (Paris 11th) areas. We can see the preparation of their cookies in live at their shop and the smells take all over the space. Their tender and generous cookies are cooked all day long depending on the demand. The result is a warm and fresh cookies that came out of the oven each time. If the cookies remain the next day, they will offered in the morning at the lowest price.

They have a different types of flavours, basic, chocolate and green tea. And of course.. the topping that will make you taste all of it! For example, they have a coconut, banana, orange, pecan, hazelnut, bretzel, kinder maxi etc.

What I ♡ : Green tea and milk chocolate cookie, the chef's favorite too!

The Price : 4,20€ for one cookie it's expensive but the size and the taste is worth it!

If you have any plan to visit Bordeaux, the city of wine, don't forget to try the best chouquette situated on rue de la Vielle Tour. A small shop in the heart of the town decorated with a typical a sea ambience, and you can see the fabrication in the small windows where all their secret is made every single day. Especially, you can smell their chouquette just out of the oven. It's terrible! Makes you want to stay for longer.

Their crunched chouquettes covered sugar with a fine crunch and light creamy vanilla cream make you want to eat more that one. It sounded so simple but trust me, there is something miraculous in their cream. It must be said that these sweet mouth snacks make completely addict. For dessert, to accompany a coffee or with a tea : their chouquette are enjoyed at all hours!

What I ♡: The famous light vanilla cream.
The price : 0,80€ a reasonable price for what you eat.

When you have 12 hours of transit in Doha and want to see the city a little bit. You might be asking yourself, what is the most interesting to do in the short time and how much it cost and etc.

The good news is Qatar airways offers free Doha city tours for transit passengers. Yes, it’s free! You don’t need to worry about the visa or the transport, that’s all free. All you have to do is book the free city tour by visiting the Doha City Tour counter at Doha International Airport. Booking is done on a first-come, first-served basis and is subject to seat availability on the coach.

The duration of the tour will take approximately three hours. Despite only having a three hours in Doha before I travel back to Paris, I manage to see a lot and profit it.

My tour of Doha begins with visit the Museum of Islamic art, a museum located on the Corniche in the Qatari capital Doha. The iconic building was designed by architect I. M. Pei. It’s a stunning work of architecture both inside and out.

The next stop is The Doha Corniche. A waterfront promenade extending for several kilometers along Doha Bay with beautiful landscaped and stunning sky scrapers with a unique architectural work.

After that, Katara Cultural Centre, a very interesting place to visit. The blue and gold mosaic tiles of the mosque make a great pictures. This is one of the best places to spend with family in a lovely evening. You have everything in here. Restaurants, beaches, rides, water rides, amphitheatre, hangouts, museum, long walk ways, nice artefacts across the walkway and in the museum.

The Pearl-Qatar is a pleasant place to visit. You can see different kind of luxuries Yatch and boats. It offers a variety of fancy and modern restaurant for all kinds of food preference. A must-visit, for the marvellous architecture and the opulent ambience.

And finally, Souq Waqif "the standing market" is place for selling traditional garments, spices, handicrafts, and souvenirs. Though you can see that the format and architecture is arabic, you can also see a lot of modern structures within.

What I ♡ : A unique and beautiful architecture in the city.
What I don't ♡ : The temperature almost killing me slowly (43º) and this is the place for rich people, everything is expensive. The endless dust and construction.
There are plenty of new fragrance launches nowadays and it can be overwhelming to choose the one that really makes you feel good and stay all day long. With a lot of different scents and also different fragrance concentrations, I can tell you that I always change my perfume every month. I know that sound like an exaggeration, but it’s true. I love to collect perfume. I love when I pass people and they smell my perfume. I remember when I was in the high school, there was a boy who opened my bag without my permission just to see what is my perfume!! And he admitted and wrote this story at his blog. LOL.

So back again when I was young (I’m still young :p) I always asked my mom to buy me a new perfume every time she traveled.  That was my addiction started. And after that sometime I used my mom’s perfume and tried to mix it with another smell (I love to do some experiment).

Well, it’s enough for some flashback ;) So here are my TOP 4 favorite perfumes at the moment:

4. L'Eau Couture - ELIE SAAB

I love the sweetness of green almond that makes this perfume attractive and very feminine, the orange blossom side brings a light and fresh touch. A sensual freshness that makes it one of my favorites in my collection. I could easily wear this every day of the year. It is perfect for every season.

3. Yellow Diamond - Versace

My favorite thing about this perfume is it lasts for a LONG time. One or two sprays will last you an entire day. This has a fresh yellow floral composition like lemon and mimosa that make the fragrance a bit sharp but absolutely fresh and sparkling. It feels like drinking lemonade in hot summer weather. A little bit expensive but lasts for days on my clothes. It is worth every penny and then some, try it you won't be sorry!

2. Allure - Chanel

What can I say for this perfume? Difficult to define, impossible to resist. Yes, that’s true, like their motto! This fragrance is very warm and sexy. A sweet, very well blended mix of vanilla, peach, orange makes it very sophisticated and classy.

1. Sí - Giorgio Armani

TOP TOP TOP and TOP!
Sensual, confident, feminine and unique character. It is not too strong or too discreet, it passes anywhere. This perfume is very sweet, fresh and fruity, perfect for me. It’s a excellent mix of cassis, soft rose and vanilla that is very suitable for all age. Yes, I know that adore Chanels perfumes, but Si is just me. Make you stunning and feel sexy at same time. It’s just breathtaking. The eau de parfum holds well on the clothes as well as on the wrists.
